Already considered a distinguished, staple event on Palm Beach’s annual social roster, The Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival has earned its place as one of the nation’s premier culinary festivals. The festival brings together an eclectic collection of the world’s most illustrious, award-winning chefs, culinary personalities, authors, winemakers and mixologists to this picturesque island of South Florida each December. Together they celebrate the art of preparing and enjoying the world of epicurean pleasures.
With specialty cocktail and hors d'oeuvre receptions, five-course dinners with premium wine pairings and the final grand tasting and cooking competition, the 2013 Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival is not only the foremost social and culinary happening in Palm Beach, but it also maintains the largest charity component of any event in the season with net revenues benefiting Chefs Dish Back™.
Through Chefs Dish Back™, all net proceeds will be donated in the name of each of the participating celebrity chefs to this year’s five following charities, each advocating and working in support of a different, critical mission: American Red Cross, Palm Beaches – Treasure Coast Region, Feeding South Florida, James Beard Foundation, Share Our Strength, and Alex’s Lemonade Stand. The festival also is working with the Palm Beach County Food Bank to rescue food from the events.
