Palm Beach Island was founded by Henry M. Flagler in the early 1900s. Today it is home to approximately 10,500 residents year-round and more than 30,000 in the winter months. The island is well known for its luxurious lifestyle, revolving around social activities such as galas, luncheons and more. Palm Beach is truly a tropical and food oasis that comes alive during the winter months.

With world-class accommodations such as the Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, fabulous shopping on Worth Avenue, award-winning golf courses and a plethora of arts and cultural opportunities such as the Society of the Four Arts, the island already hosts many prestigious organizations. Now Palm Beach plays the host to one of the country's most dynamic culinary events.

As it turns out, food is king in Palm Beach. Restaurants are booked in advance, desserts run out, and maître ds are your best friends. This resort island is often weary of change, but the Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival has been a culinary addition to the island.
